How to Apply Do not remove the film on the back of the patch. Step 1 — Place the patch on your desired position, with the iron-on side facing down against the fabric. (Do not peel off the backing.) Step 2 — Set your iron to 150°C (300°F) with steam turned off. Press firmly for 10–15 seconds, making sure the patch heats evenly. Then flip the garment over and iron from the back side for extra hold. Step 3 — No iron? No problem. You can also hand-stitch or machine-sew the patch onto your fabric for a permanent finish.
